Deputy Commonwealth's Attorney Will Jamerson said investigators know Darden didn't fire the fatal shot. Parker was killed by a .45-caliber bullet, Jamerson said. The autopsy confirmed that the bullet came from a gun fired by Brandon Artis , Jamerson said.
Witnesses testified that Darden was carrying a .40-caliber handgun, Jamerson said. Artis, who was 15 at the time , was sentenced in May 2007 to 37 years in prison.
